Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Jazz balance check code?
Dial *111# from your Jazz prepaid SIM. Your balance appears on screen within seconds, it works without internet, and a single inquiry is normally free. Our Jazz balance check guide covers the Jazz World app method and what to do when the code does not respond.
What is the Zong balance check code?
Dial *222# from your Zong prepaid SIM. A small per-inquiry charge may apply, so the free My Zong App is the better option if you check often. Details are in our Zong balance check guide.
What is the Telenor balance check code?
Dial *444# from your Telenor prepaid SIM. It works without internet or balance, and My Telenor App shows the same information for free. See our Telenor balance check guide for the full walkthrough.
What is the Ufone balance check code?
Dial *124# from your Ufone prepaid SIM. A nominal charge per inquiry may apply, so use the free My Ufone App if you check your balance frequently. Our Ufone balance check guide has the details.
How do I unsubscribe from a mobile bundle?
Most bundles have a dedicated unsubscription USSD code, usually mentioned in the bundle's confirmation SMS or in our package guides for Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone. Alternatively, open your operator's app, go to your active bundles, and deactivate it there. If neither works, call the helpline and ask them to remove it — keep the confirmation SMS as proof.
Why is tax deducted when I recharge my SIM?
Recharges in Pakistan are subject to government taxes and duties, including withholding/advance income tax and related charges under the PTA framework. That is why a 100-rupee recharge gives you less than 100 rupees of usable balance. The exact rates change with tax policy, so treat any specific figure you see online as approximate and check your operator's current deduction notice.
How can I check my remaining MBs and minutes?
The most reliable way is your operator's official app — Jazz World, My Zong App, My Telenor App, or My Ufone App — which shows remaining data, minutes and SMS along with their expiry dates. Each operator also has USSD resource-check codes, but the app view is clearer, free, and harder to misread.
What are the helpline numbers for Jazz, Zong, Telenor and Ufone?
Jazz: 111. Zong: 310. Telenor: 345. Ufone: 333. These are the official customer-care helplines for each network. Save your operator's number in your contacts — when a bundle misbehaves, a two-minute call usually resolves it faster than guessing codes.
How do I transfer SIM ownership to someone else?
Both the current owner and the new owner must visit the operator's service center or franchise together with their original CNICs, where biometric verification completes the transfer. Our SIM ownership transfer guide walks through the full process for all networks, including what to do if the previous owner is unavailable.
Why did my bundle stop working before its expiry date?
The most common reasons: you used up the data or minutes early, the bundle did not auto-renew because your balance was too low, or the subscription never actually activated in the first place (no confirmation SMS). Check your remaining resources in the operator's app first, then confirm the bundle shows as active. If it shows active but data does not work, restart the phone and verify your APN settings — our Jazz and Zong APN guides cover the fix.
